Grasswood Bamboo Flooring is a family owned and operated business. We are proud of the quality and beauty of our bamboo flooring and are equally proud of dealing with a product that is environmentally sustainable. As our business grows we are committed to further reducing the environmental impact of both our business and private lives.

Whilst Grasswood Bamboo Flooring has only recently been established in Australia, our proprietor Mark Saunders draws on nearly a decade of living and working in the Asia regions providing sourcing and quality control solutions to buyers of building materials, furniture and home decoration via his and his wife Nongcran’s company Asia Scouts.

Having tendered various large scale projects in south-east Asia with bamboo flooring, Mark and Nongcran became convinced of  the benefits and viability of bamboo flooring as a practical and environmentally sound alternative to solid timber flooring - not to mention falling in love with its beauty and charm.

We have paid staff in the factories to ensure the quality of our bamboo flooring and the timeliness of delivery. We also make use of our Asia Scouts team who are in constant communication with the factories and act as external quality controllers, providing both our customers and ourselves with peace of mind that our bamboo flooring will be delivered in good quality on time.
